We introduce ourselves as a manufacturer of 100% cotton & polyester knitted hosiery garments with a production capacity of 30,000 pieces per month depending on style. Our products are being sold in the domestic market under a well known brand name “LEELA” since 1968.

History
Company is operated under the guidance of the Honorary adviser Shri.K.Gangadharan who is the founder of the company Leela Hosiery Mills, established in the year 1968 at Tirupur. From 1969 onwards Leela introduced many fashionable wear like printed T.Shirts, Collar Shirts, Brief for children, Ladies and Gents. Introduced automation in Bleaching and Dyeing instead of the conventional methods adopted by the industry. Our Director represented the hosiery industry of Tirupur in Government offices, Federation of Associations in Bombay and in Sitra, Coimbatore in various capacities of the association of the Industry. Slowly the company started exporting after obtaining orders through International exhibition conducted in Taj Bombay. For the first time from the industry in 1976 our Director went abroad for canvassing orders. In 1982 he imported a Mercerising plant from Germany for processing knitted tubular fabric, which was the first of its kind in India. Exports went on successfully and Leela was awarded the best exporter by the Union Minister for Industries, New Delhi and also Leela was awarded by the Tamil Nadu state Government for the best export. Leela group was among the first set of companies which was selected by Government of India in the year 1994 for a program conducted in association with UNIDO for marketing and inviting foreign investments.

We manufacture and cater Uniforms such as T.Shirts, track pants, Shorts & Skirts in different colours with emblem of the institutions and Corporate offices printed and embroidered on the garment as required by the buyers.
